With your number lock on type in 0169 on your numeric keypad on the right hand side of your key board whilst holding down the ALT key

If you are using Word - go to Insert on your Toolbar, scroll down and click symbols and then you will find the copyright symbol on the matrix provided. On my version of Word right in the middle on the 5th row down in the matrix

Using Word 2007 go to the Insert menu and go to Symbols on the right hand side of the menu and click and you can choose the symbol ©

On a Mac PC

Simply enter Option + G
